Remote Debug Azure Worker Role

There are a million links, such as http://blogs.msdn.com/b/cie/archive/2014/01/24/windows-azure-remote-debugging.aspx , that seem to take care of setting up remote debugging. I did this many times in VS 2013 Update 2, deployed, then attached to the debugger, and it just doesn't work. Well, the debugger seems to be joining, but I constantly get a message when I am above the breakpoint, telling me that "the breakpoint will not be deleted at this time. No characters have been loaded for this document. Some time ago I recall how I saw the presentation of channel 9 and they seemed to be setting up a character repository.I tried to set it up and it still gives me the same message when I hover over a breakpoint.

VS 2013 Update 2 Remote Debugging - I can get it to work with the Debug assembly. I set the debugging option to “Include only my code” and downloaded all the characters - this seems to work fine. Now I can set breakpoints and not receive the message that you (and I) noted earlier.

This is probably not an ideal situation, since it would be nice to be able to attach a debugger to the output, but so far it seems like a reasonable solution.
