In our Android application, we have two .so files: one for x86 and the other for ARM. They are quite large and increase the .apk size from 7 MB to 11 MB.
Since .so files are run-time objects, they must be inside .apk files.
Is there any way to reduce the size of .so files or use / build it in my .apk in the best possible way?
I have one moment from here http://developer.sonymobile.com/2012/01/31/tips-for-reducing-apk-file-size/ to remove debug symbols from my own code.
