Magento does not send order confirmation emails

I use Aschroder SMTP Pro on my Magento site. The test for sending emails (what the plugin does) is successful, but order confirmation letters are not sent. I have included the log of email messages and exceptions, but I do not see any errors in it. Send mail method on system> Configuration is set to "Separate email address" for each section. Email templates are configured correctly.

What am I doing wrong? Thank.

The problem was caused by a bad plugin ... I had another problem and the solution to the problem Magento resumed sending confirmation letters.

Here is the link to my question (with the answer): Source model "not found for the" privacy "attribute Magento 1.9

Weird things...

I also struggled with the problem of sending emails in CE 1.9.1, but after a while I found the problem:

As per Magento CE 1.9.1, Magento does not send order emails directly during the order process. Instead, mail is sent to the queue and sent to cron. Therefore, be sure to configure Magento cronjob correctly.

When it comes to testing emails, I usually check delivery to gmail accounts because they seem to be the most susceptible to public emails on the Internet. Any type of company email is usually a bad choice, as they most likely have more stringent accessibility standards.
