Tkinter input widget in Python is unedited

Question

When I run this code, a file collector appears, and then when I finish it, I cannot enter an input widget until I focus on another window, and then return. Why is this happening?

box.focus_set()

By running askopenfilename, you can avoid this problem.

To do this, you need to make a window rootand remove it, or you will get two windows.

Using focus_setand focus_force, you can make this field immediately ready for use.
