Change paper input width

Question

Can I change the width of the paper input item? I don’t see the properties widthor sizeon the input paper, which will allow me to adjust the width, making this component not very convenient if it is stuck in the same size.

It would also be nice to disable the error container. I had to remove it manually as it adds an extra 20 or so pixels under the search box.

Add a width style to get the size you want.

I am not at home where I can play with Polymer examples (I do not use it at work yet), so I can not publish any code at the moment.
