I found that I can install IPA through Apple Configurator on my devices without consuming a quota on the device of my Apple Developer account. It looks great, so what's the flaw?
My plan is to deploy one application on 50 iDevices. Is there a better way to do this?
AFAIK. If I install through the Xcode with the Provisioning Profile, the profile expires and the application becomes unusable, and the device itself will use the device quota in my Apple Developer account.
Notes:
- The application does not plan to send to the App Store
- my Apple Developer Program does not have 50 additional device quotas
- I can physically connect to 50 devices (can connect via USB cables).
- will not consider jailbreak paths
- will not consider using iExplorer / iTools
