How to receive notifications when a client connects or disconnects in net?

I want to receive notifications when a client (browser - my client is here) connects or disconnects from a network server. I have expanded SimpleChannelInboundHandler and I am working on websites, so overcoming channelActive and channelInactive will help solve my problem? And if so, please help me, or if there is any other way to achieve it. thank

Yes channelActive (...) and channelInactive (...) will be notified when the tcp connection is established and closed.
