How to enable secure extensions

Question

I want to activate a secure extension, in this case the extension "System - Language Filter". I know that usually these extensions can be allowed, but in my case it does not work because the extension status shows "protected extension". Does anyone know a solution?

Open System -> Global Check-in, select all the checkboxes and press Check In.

Then go to Extensions -> Plugin Managerand click on the status button to enable the plugin.
