Vaadin with the Grail

I'm new to vaadin, a couple of days ago I downloaded the vaadindashboard demo demo application .

And I found it amazing and became a fan of vaadin.

I am a developer swingand starting a new project with help vaadin. I am confused about linking the database to vaadin. I am using MySqla database.

As I was not thinking about writing code, can someone tell me which approach would be best.

• Use vaadinwithgrails
  • Quick use springand hibernate. Does this affect any performance since there are a number of layers?
  • I have no idea about grailsif this is best with vaadin, then I will recognize him.
• Use TableQueryand directly SQLContanier.
• Use it hibernateyourself to retrieve data from the database.
• Use JSONand call apion another webservicesto receive data. how does it do vaadin quickticket demo application.

Which approach should I use, or can someone help me out, which might be the best method vaadinwith a database MySql.

Should I use grailswith vaadin, I am developing a dashboard application to track inventory. This will cause a serious performance or speed issue.
