Can I use the Git client with TFS, but without Visual Studio?

As a tester, I do not use Visual Studio. (I am using TestWise.)

I use Git on my laptop, with a repository on BitBucket. Our two developers use VS and VSS. Now they will start using TFS.

Can I click on TFS relay without using VS? If so, I would appreciate some links with instructions.

BTW: That probably sounds like a lazy question, but using google with “using git” in the same query as “without VS” still produces a million entries related to VS.
