Kafka, how to use one theme in parallel

I am reading a kafka document, still do not know how to use one theme in parallel?

Suppose that: I have one topic like “something happened” (do not share this topic), and I have many clients who want to use it. So what should I do so that many customers can use it in parallel? using section and group of clients?

I have an idea about this, but I'm not sure if this is correct.

make many sections on the same topic and make one section one client, so that one manufacturer must do the same with these sections, and each client in a different customer group, is it right?
