Failed to install Cocoapods on Yosemite DP 7

I'm having trouble installing Cocoapods on Yosemite DP 7, installed on a separate partition. I already tried to follow the instructions found in Cocoapods with Xcode 6 and 10.10 Yosemite and closed in the release ( https://github.com/CocoaPods/CocoaPods/issues/2219 ) due to the same solution suggested in the link.

I keep getting the following error:

I suspect this may be related to the fact that I have Yosemite on a separate section, but otherwise I don’t know.
