ASP.Net MVC Identity Forgotten Password

I set up a quick page to accept an email address that will send him an email that will later contain a link to a reset password or a new temporary one.

My project is a new ASP.Net MVC project using Identity. I thought that the best way to reset is to send a link to an email, which, when clicked, allows the user to enter a new one, but then I’m not sure what to put on the page the link refers to, enable this functionality and ensure site security.

Is it easier in this case to send a new temporary file?
