Install Redis on Windows Server

Question

I am trying to install Redis on my Windows Server 2012 R2. The problem is that all installed installation guides are out of date.

Can someone show me the easiest and latest way to install Redis on Windows?

here is a quick start from powershell:

• Install Chocolatey Package Manager:

  iex ((new-object net.webclient).DownloadString('https://chocolatey.org/install.ps1'))

• use chocolate to install redis choco install -y redis-64

  3. start the server: redis-server
