MMC failed to create a snap. SQL Server Configuration Manager Error

When I tried to connect to the SQL Server configuration server in SQL Server 2008. It shows error MMC could not create the snap-in.

It worked fine until last night. What could be the reason, how can I solve it. I can not send image error due to low reputation.

I had the same problem and it turned out that this is a problem with the .net framework.

I downloaded this file: "dotNetFx40_Full_x86_x64.exe" from the Microsoft website and used the "repair" parameter. It worked for me. Hope this helps.
