Is there a way to make the cursor in the text box more visible?

I am working on a web application for people with brain injuries. I would like to make the cursor in the text box more visible than the thinking line.

Is there any way to make it larger?

(Search on Google and SO. No luck)

This is not naively possible / reliable in all browsers, as it is controlled by the OS. I would suggest a supporting document that links your users in order to change their system so that it is easier for them to focus not only on yours, but on all websites.
