Download icon for Xamarin android layout screen

I want to find out if there are any good ideas / tutorials on how to add gif to android format, when processing happens, and when the page layout goes to another page layout.

I tried to use this - AndHud

But it looks like it is not working well with the portal class library (PCL) and services inside PCL. I could not find many examples with this component.

I see that android is using the progress dialog for this, but I was hoping for a version of Xamarin in C # or any other smart way to do this.

AndHUD Android BTProgressHUD iOS.

PCL :

public enum MaskType
{
    None = 1,
    Clear,
    Black,
    Gradient
}

public interface IHudService
{
    void Show(string message, MaskType maskType, int progress = -1);
    void Dismiss();
    void ShowToast(string message, bool showToastCentered = true, double timeoutMs = 1000);
    void ShowToast(string message, MaskType maskType, bool showToastCentered = true, double timeoutMs = 1000);
}

( iOS):
