How to get logcat / stack trace messages with Android Wearable in DDMS

I noticed that none of my Moto 360 trap posts appear in my DDMS. My bootable device does not appear in the device list.

It turns out that I did not have the option installed on the watch. Below are the steps that I had to take in order to output the output of logcat.

  • Sign in to the Android Wear app on your phone and turn on Debugging over Bluetooth
  • Terminal team adb forward tcp:4444 localabstract:/adb-hub; adb connect localhost:4444
  • Go in Settingson the watch, go to Aboutand press Build number7 times
  • Developer options ADB debugging ( Bluetooth debugging)
