I developed the OpenGL ES game a few years ago and has been working well so far: I downloaded Xcode 6 and iOS 8 to my iPad 3, and the touch control (touchsBegan, touchhesMoved, touchesEnded) only found a square of 768x768 pixels, instead 1024x768.
Fields of 256 points (1024-768) do not respond to ripples.
The game is in landscape mode.
The touch control seems to think the iPad is in portrait mode instead of landscape mode. Visually it’s in the landscape.
Looks like a bug in iOS 8.
