I am studying Xcode6 and I found that a size class has now appeared for storyboard or xib design. I tried to create an iPad design in portrait. I did not find any class size specification, so I decided to go with wAny - hAny.
So, I got a canvas measuring 600x600. When I put UILabelwith the frame x = 100,y = 100, w = 60,h = 21. Thus, this frame is based on 600x600 canvas. When I launch the application, on the 768x1024 screen this label has the same frame. Nothing changed.
So, how to design an iPad or iPhone mockup of different sizes with a fixed canvas when it doesn't change its subframe based on the screen size. I understand a lot about the size class, but have not received anything useful for developing a layout with a size class.
The only thing I found is to either disable AutoLayoutor resize the ViewController image for free form and make the canvas size up to 768x1024, but this will not help when designing an iPhone with multiple sizes.
