Intellij cursor continues to follow the mouse and select

For some reason, the Intellijs text cursor continues to follow my mouse and selects everything. Are there any settings that can do this? It seems I can not find it in the search settings. Where else could it be?

I had this problem twice on two different computers in different environments with decoupling environments, hogland and picharma.

A solution as annoying as restarting the machine. Restarting the IDE or even upgrading / downgrading did not help.

If you have a touch screen, try touching it somewhere. This helped me solve the problem.

It can be disabled by disabling IDE Settings- Editor-Highlight usages of element at caret
