Maybe someone can help me find the right technique.
I have a series of Crystal Reports that I am updating (Crystal Reports XI). Each of these reports has an SQL-related SQL function that either retrieves records from the database (if they meet the matching criteria) or returns an empty data set (which happens daily). They are executed in a batch process and direct the output to a PDF file, which is sent to users by e-mail.
I am relatively new to Crystal Reports.
I am trying to use a common SubReport for formatting / collecting data for headers and footers used in these documents. So far - most of this works as I expected. This allows me to use one SubReport to create the same header in multiple reports (at least for my purpose).
However - I added a report footer section to the main report - my plan is to create a report footer that will contain the following information:
- A static text message that reads "--- END OF DOCUMENT ---"
- Report Title "Main Report"
- Date and time the document was created and the total number of pages.
That sounds pretty simple.
So, SubReport is called: "END-OF-DOCUMENT-SUBREPORT"
" " , N M
" " "END-OF-DOCUMENT-SUBREPORT" , "", SubReport.
- - SubReport - - SubReport , , - "END-OF-DOCUMENT-SUBREPORT" .
"" , SubReport .
?
, "" .
