How to run an iOS simulator with iOS7 after updating Xcode

My Mac upgraded my Xcode to 6, and I can no longer run my applications on the iOS7 simulator. How can I return the old simulator?

After making sure that the goal of deploying iOS is 7.1 from the main settings of your project, click where you can usually choose the size of the simulator and go to "Get more simulators."

Then you can download and install the iOS 7.1 simulator, and then the parameters for launching them will be available in the same menu.
