Update Jenkins Native Windows Package

we use Jenkins 1.527 as a windows service. We installed it using our own Windows package installer. Now we want to manually update it to the latest version. We do not want to lose our current job configurations. Is just uninstalling and installing a new package enough for this task? Thanks in advance.

I get it; just replace the updated war file with the old one :)
