UILabel update resets my views in xCode iOS8

Whenever my text changes (UILabel) in my game, it resets my UIImageView guy who works (person) to its original position (to the left of the screen).

It almost acts as a view controller reset in a way ... not sure why. All ints and variables are updated with a timer, but as soon as I try to change the actual text, everything is reset.

Here is my NSTimer for updating labels:

labelScanner=[NSTimer scheduledTimerWithTimeInterval:0.05 target:self selector:@selector(updateLabels) userInfo:nil repeats:YES];

 }
