Eclipse Task List - Not Completed

Question

The name says it all. I am using ADT and I have source code full of tags //TODO. I can go through the tags using the "Task View", but when I want to mark the task as completed, the option is Mark Completednot available.
what is the reason for this and how can I fix it? tag removal //TODOfor completed tasks is not an option; I want to be able to view my changes later.

Create another task flag in Preferences-> Java-> Compiler-> Task Tags, say // DONE.
