Access to the sonar is possible locally, but is not available elsewhere.

Just tried installing standalone sonar 2.0.5 in Win XP.

Setting : 

IP   : 127.0.0.1
Port : 9000
WebContext : /

Access to it can be obtained locally. However, when I tried to access it from another computer, it could not be accessed. So I tried changing the setting to port 8080 (my tomcat port) and turning off my tomcat. Still unavailable. My Tomcat (port 8080, if running) is accessible over the network. Windows Firewall is disabled.

Any idea why this is happening?

You configured Sonar to bind to the local loopback address. Try changing the IP address to "0.0.0.0".
