Which one is best CSV or JSON for importing big data (PHP)

Question

I'm trying to get a lot of data (about 3 million rows), and I have only two options for doing this.

1. Call the API and then restore the 3M JSON objects.
2. Import a CSV file containing 3M lines.

I have not tested any of these solutions to say which one is better in terms of speed.

If you want to extract simple data in the form of lists or rows with some columns, option number 2 is a good option, you can read a number of advantages and disadvantages below:
