Xcode 6.0.1 Tools iOS8 - the application does not work properly when profiling on the device

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated for why this might happen. I am trying to profile my application using the Allocations trace template (the same thing happens when using any other template). My application consists of some cocoapod libraries and another imported project that is created as a library, if that can make any difference.

When I run the application on my ipad Air, the application works fine. The drawer controller and collection are assembled, as it should be, the application works fine. However, as soon as I try to profile the same application on the device, it does not behave as expected. (I also tried this on a simulator and it does the same)

The application will hang when performing certain operations, for example, when you click a button in an application that should normally press the new view controller, it just freezes. I searched everywhere for an answer, no luck. I played with various settings in "Tools", I tried to change the code signing settings, as suggested elsewhere. I tried both Debug and Release. To no avail.

Does anyone know why this might happen? Am I the only one experiencing this weirdness with Xcode 6 Instruments on iOS8?

I had the same problem with tools. I fixed this by removing NSLog from my application. I do not know why this could happen.
