IOS Simulator with iOS 8 (Xcode 6) not showing up in Safari development menu

I am using Xcode 6 and want to debug something in Safari mobile through the development menu on the Safari desktop. When I select a device with iOS 7, the webpage is displayed in the Safari desktop development menu. When I select a device with iOS 8, the web page does not appear. Is this a mistake or do I need to do something?

iOS 8 Mobile Safari can only be tested Safari 8 on Yosemite or the latest Safari build (7.1) for Mavericks
