How to enable Wi-Fi data binding on Android KitKat devices?

I am using Moto e with version 4.4.4 of android kitkat. After some google search, I found that tehering is disabled to support mobile carriers for their data plans.

I can use mobile data via usb modem and bluetooth modem.

I found a solution to this problem and it will help me re-enable Wi-Fi data binding on my kitkat phone.

  • Download the Android SDK (Developer Toolkit).
  • Download USB drivers for your phone.
  • Enable Developer Options and Debbugging Fail.
  • "android-sdk\platform-tools"

adb -uri://settings/global -bind name: s: tether_dun_required --bind : i: 0

  1. ,

adb --uri content://settings/global --where "name= 'tether_dun_required' AND value = 0"

  1. Wi-Fi.
