Python 2.7.8 TypeError: "unicode" object cannot be called

Question

I am running python version 2.7.8. I store project names in sqlite database which I am trying to import into combobox. When I try to import project names from sqlite database and import them into combobox, I get this error: TypeError: object "unicode" cannot be called

Here is my code:

self.projectsPg.cb.Value = rows[0][0]
