Grouping field does not appear on admin Linked Products

I have two versions of my site for testing some plugins:

- beta) wordpress 3.7.4 + woocommerce 2.1.12

So, when administering a product → Product data → Related products, it shows the up-sell, cross-sell, and grouping fields. Good.

- alpha) wordpress 4.0 + woocommerce 2.2.6

On the same admin page, the up-sell and cross-sell fields are displayed, but they do not show the grouping field . The field appears in the Inspect Element, but it is hidden with the built-in display:none.

Looking at the code, I found this:

Maybe this could be a mistake? Or maybe I'm missing some kind of configuration?

The grouping field in related products is hidden when editing products of types Variable and Grouped. This means that the reason you didn’t see this field on your new installation might be because you were editing a product of one of these types.

If you want to set a group name for a grouped product in order to associate simple products with it, you actually do not need a grouping field, because the grouped product name itself serves as the group name.
