Syntastic: show warnings in the gutter but not in the list of locations

Question

In the Syntastic plugin for VIM, is it possible for Syntastic to check all errors and warnings in the gutter , but display only errors (not warnings) in the location list?

I would like to use VIM and Syntastic more as an IDE with passive strict warnings, so the list of locations only “pops up” in the field of view when a compilation error occurs, while a more severe style problem is only noted in the ditch.
