How to resize menus for Atom editor?

The Atom editor on my system opened in huge print yesterday, and the menus are unusable. I used Ctrl+ -to reduce the font size in a text editor, but the font in the menu remains huge and unreadable.

Screenshothot of atom

I use Ubuntu 14.04 and tried to remove the atom from apt-get (using -purge) and deleted the ~ / .atom / directory where my configuration was saved. After reinstalling Atom, the font remains huge.

Atom seems to be the only application with this problem. All other applications have menus at the top of the screen not in a window such as Atom. Could this be related?

Does anyone know how to fix a big menu in Atom?

You can delete the config / Atom folder as a rude solution. Atom will create default settings the next time it starts. Warning: backup before deleting settings
