How to update Amazon S3 redirect rules through the command line

Amazon has “Edit Redirection Rules” in the S3 Management Console:

But I wanted to automate this and update it through the command line , which I cannot find. Even on the Amazon documentation page, it shows screenshots from the S3 interface and does not mention any web APIs.
