CheckBox Show / Hide TextBox WPF

Question

As the title says, I'm trying to show / hide a TextBox in WPF without writing code in the MainWindow.xaml.cs file.

Model:

public class Person
{
    public string Comment { get; set; }
}

View:

Thus, the TextBox should be hidden at startup, but displayed when the checkbox is selected. Please, help!

You can snap TextBox.Visiblityto CheckBox.IsChecked. If you want to switch between Hiddenand Visible, you need to either write a custom IValueConverterone or create a simple oneStyle.Trigger

                    <DataTrigger Binding="{Binding ElementName=CommentCheckBox, Path=IsChecked}" Value="True">
                        <Setter Property="Visibility" Value="Visible"/>
                    </DataTrigger>
                </Style.Triggers>
            </Style>
        </TextBox.Style>
    </TextBox>
</StackPanel>

if you want to switch between Collapsedand Visible, there is an easier way and you can use assemblyBooleanToVisibilityConverter

    </StackPanel.Resources>
