Can xlsxwriter use another file as a template?

Can an xlsxwriter object use the template of another excel file?

I tried using xlsr but could not use the template.

I am using xlsxwriter since I am writing more lines of 65335.

From the XlsxWriter FAQ :

Q. Can XlsxWriter use an existing Excel file as a template?

No.

XlsxWriter is for writing files only. It cannot read or modify an existing Excel file.

OpenPyXL can read and write files and process Excel 2007 format.
