Build Kibana 4 executable jar from source on Github

I wanted to try out the latest Kibana 4 from Github, and also maybe tweak it a bit for our use. What is the build and packaging process for the Kibana 4 Executable jar, including its server from a source on Github? Currently, the only available release is Kibana 4 beta 1 on the Elasticsearch website.
