Why does authoize.net return an Ok I00001 “Successful” response code, but still have lower customer credit cards?

I have a client for which I used the AIM Authorize.net system. When the transaction passes, the response contains the result code "OK", the response code I00001 and the response message "Success". Sometimes I also get authcode back in the response, but it will still appear on the Authorize.net portal. Is this a problem with Authorize.net or was I looking for the wrong things in the response codes?

This answer means that the transaction was completed successfully. This does not mean that the card is approved.
