KeeperErrorCode = NoNode for / brokers / topics / test-topic / sections

When starting Kafka, the following error appears.

KeeperErrorCode = NoNode for /brokers/topics/test-topic/partitions

Any help would be appreciated.

I found my answer, due to the inconsistency between the zookeeper and kafka versions. I used to use kafka_2.8.0-0.8.0 with zookeeper 3.3.5 but then I installed kafka_2.9.2-0.8.1.1 with zookeeper 3.3.5 and now it works fine.

Most likely, this is because the topic has not yet been created. Topic nodes in Zookeeper are created when the broker processes the first message in the topic or, alternatively, when the call AdminUtils.createTopic (...) was called.
