I am using Red5 1.0.3 and trying to run RTMPS through port 8443 with a self-signed certificate.
What I have already done:
- Enable RTMPS in conf / red5-core.xml
- Added my self-signed certificate to the keystore and trust store
- Confirmed that the key phrase for the keystore and trust store is correct (this is a test, so the code phrases are the same for simplicity).
- The "untrusted certificate" issue was fixed by accepting an exception in my browser (using Chrome on Ubuntu).
- Verify that Red5 is listening on 8443 and the port is connecting.
The next road block I have is the “blank answer” in the browser when trying to connect to Red5.
