Android per day write today yesterday 2 days ago

I need to print the date, as today, yesterday, 2 days ago, as well as for what I did I get the date as: String date1 = "Thu Nov 13 19:01:25 GMT+05:30 2014"; call howstr=get_userTime(date1);

Use SimpleDateFormat to parse your date, and then use date.getTime()the following:
