Data Sync for Android 21 is not supported. Main.minor version 51.0

When installing Android 5.0 (SDK 21)

The following error occurred in Eclipse:
"Loading data for Android 5.0" has encountered a problem. 

Parsing Data for android-21 failed  
unsupported major.minor version 51.0

I am still facing the same problem on a Mac, and now, as in a few answers, try Java 1.8, where I found the latest version. Old is not available. I have already updated Java, but I do not know what is wrong with it.

You will need to install Java v7. Android does not yet support Java v8. You can get the latest version of Java v7 from here .
