Is there a way to remove guest vm using the pyvmomi API?

I spilled documents and examples for the official VMWare pyvmomi API and for life I can’t find the obvious way to simply disconnect the VM from the ESXi server.

Can someone provide an example or point me to someone who has already invested this? It seems the only alternative is to drop something that will

  • Shutting down the virtual machine
  • Unregister
  • Delete virtual machine
  • Remove VM related drives?

I think every part is there, but I really hope that someone can point me in the right direction.
