How to avoid flickering in the action bar when showing and hide it on a scroll

Question

I want to scroll up and down the action bar when scrolling the list in android, just like the Google Play Store app.

I have an action bar and tabs under the action bar, as in the Google Play Store app

I can hide and show the action bar, but it also flickers.

Please tell me how to avoid flickering.
