I am working on refactoring a single code file from a TFS repository. I do this refactor in pieces, making regular minor commits. Our TFS policy requires me to associate each commit with a work item.
This means that every few minutes, when I right-click the code file and click the "Check pending changes" button, I also need to click "Add work item by ID" under the corresponding work items, enter a number and click enter. The subject of a work item starts to become quite tedious after a dozen commits in the same file and the same work item in an hour.
