Drawing an uneven circle using JavaFX

I am looking for some ideas on how to draw a jagged circle using JavaFX. I need something like this: enter image description here

The only idea I have is to use a lot of cubic curves with points and end points on the border of the circle. Is there an easier way? What effect can I add to an existing circle?
