Grails having both a resource plugin and assets

Hi, I have an application running on Grails 2.4.3 with a resource plugin 1.2.8. We plan to move to the asset pipeline. Can we use both plugins as we will partially update the code. Anyone have any experience.

asset-pipe does its job when creating a war file, but resources work at runtime after deployment. Thus, there will be no resources.

They also use different folders (resource pipeline under grails-app/assets, resources under web-app), so by default they don’t even have access to the same files, right?
