I am trying to debug my application on Nexus Player hardware. I turned on developer mode, turned on USB debugging, and connected the cable. However, I do not see any messages like the ones below: https://developers.google.com/cast/docs/android_tv#adb-usb
In the USB debugging resolution ?, select "Always allow" from this computer and select "OK."
What steps might be missing? Could this be a problem with the USB driver?
I just installed the Google USB driver in Device Manager (Computer Management) and it worked. (The Google USB driver is located in the \ extras \ google \ usb_driver folder.)
I also had this problem. I fixed it just using a USB cable that supports data transfer. The cable that comes with the Nexus Player is a "charging" type of cable.
